Giveaway - Cartoon Network's BEN 10 LIVE : Time Machine

School holidays are upon us once again. *shudder*  I'm quite sure they have doubled since I became the parent of a school aged child.

It's really not easy trying to schedule activities that suit both Miss5 going on 25, and the 2 1/2 year old twin tornado who approve of little other than the McDonalds playgroud.

Seriously, I can't even stick the twins in front of  my babysitter of choice  the TV, because they're really not that into it.  While Miss5 would watch anything (including the TV Shopping Network and Millionaire Hot Seat), the twins are very selective.  It has to be Dora The Explorer, Ben 10, or The Real Housewives of... (any series).

This school holidays, I was determined to put some degree of forethought and effort into scheduling activities.  But I didn't.

It was looking like another school holidays filled with tri-weekly McDonalds  flat white fixes  playground visits.

But then I saw this :

My salvation.  I can make one outing last for an entire 2 weeks worth of threats, bargaining and bribery.  Bribery for good behaviour and  house  bedroom cleaning for the first part of the holidays.  Bargaining in treats like popcorn, drinks etc. in return for extra housework helpers  peace and quiet  well-adjusted, pleasant, happy children.

Or am I the only parent whose kids only speak 'bribe'?

Cartoon Network's BEN 10 LIVE : Time Machine is a live production which sees Ben on a mission to save the past, present and future of the Universe.  You know, no biggie...all in a hard day's work...

His Majesty's Theatre, Tuesday 11 October at 3pm

For your chance to win :

1.  Subscribe to this blog
2.  Follow on Facebook and/or Twitter
3.  Comment with your school holidays entertainment tip

Mine is having a decent supply of wine on hand, and also knowing the quickest route to my nearest McDonalds with a playground and a McCafe.  (It's probably for the best that I'm not left to entertain and educate my kids for any longer than the 2 weeks of school holidays).

Entries close midnight (WST) Sunday 2nd October.  Winner drawn by random.org and posted on the blog Monday 3rd October.

Due to the tight turnaround between drawing the winner and the actual show, winner only has until Wednesday 5th October to contact me and claim their prize.  Prize will be re-drawn immediately if not claimed.

Note
This prize is like all those crazy cheap airfares you see : non-transferrable, non-refundable, and no date, venue or session changes are possible.

PS - If you happen to win and can't attend...mine is a family of 5, and I would gladly 'take one for the team' and attend on your behalf.  You're welcome.
